What type of white shirt to wear under a v neck sweater?

Any colors go with the banana republic argyles they have alot of colors in them. White will really set it off, with a blue tie if you got the navy sweater, but I would go with a brighter tie if you got the brown one. It really does NOT matter what type of shirt you wear under it, it could be a casual or a dress shirt, the colors just have to go together. You could wear the dress shirt with the top on undone and wear a tie a bit loose, no tie, but you can also wear the casual shirt undone in a cool color, either way it will look good. Pair a pair of banana republic chinos with it, in any color, but stay away from lighter colors for a less casual look, lighter colors will also focus a bit of weight on top, so keep it balanced. I love top pair my banana republic sweaters with dark jeans, and an interesting shirt, with brown shoes. Lighter jeans would also work, for a more laid back look, but also with a matching color, or opposite colored T to complete the look.
