Here is what I understand on this subject I hope this helps you out. I guess the ultimate person that I consider to be a surrogate is actually Mary the mother of Jesus, because a surrogacy although there are many ways to conceive and be considered a surrogacy. Mary was a virgin who was inseminated by God and as a result she became pregnant with Jesus. Yes there are stories in the bible of Surrogacy it was very common that in those times if a wife could not bare children that she would have her servant that could bare children to bare the child for her. Moses would not be considered a product of a surrogacy. With the Sarah, Abraham, and Hagar they took matters into there own hands and God told them that they would have a child of there own even if they were older. Which they eventually did have a child when he started to put the faith back into God. But it would actually be considered a surrogacy. I hope this helps you out.
