Something weird going on (mature)?

I think you should seek another opinion. It's been a week or so and if it were "nothing" then it wouldn't be the way it is. Is it just swollen or is it inflamed or painful? Do you remember injuring yourself in some way? Maybe it's something simple, but maybe it's not. Better to be safe than sorry.
