Regarding Global Warming: Motive....?

so there's evidently 2 sides to the issue only 1 is right. There's one that claims that global warming is a preventable, longterm catastrophy...the other claims that it is a hoax put forth by liberals to rally environmental sentiments...let us yze the motives behind each side ...first, the side that warns of global warming. Hypothetically uming Global Warming is false, Their benefits from public support would be: stricter emitions regulations on smokestack industries, focus on finding alternatives to fossil fuel, more airconditioners sold, stricter deforestation laws, stricter pollution control. And the benefits for those who say it's a hoax (Hypothetically uming Global Warming is true): public concent for industrial pollution, smokestack industries more profitable, petrolium industries more profitable, lumber/paper industries more profitable, healthcare/pharmesudical industries more business...what do you think are some potential motives for either side???and who is right?
