My Holter Monitor Report?
Sinus rhythm is what everyone's normal rhythm is and is controlled they the sinus node in your heart - thus the "sinus" rhythm. Sinus tachycardia is still your normal rhythm but just faster. During the time this was recorded, you could have been walking fast, exercising, doing some activity which increases your heart rate. Any activity causes your heart rate to increase which is what your heart is supposed to do. If you are out of shape, any activity that increases your heart rate to 163 will make you short of breath. Unless this fast heart rate starts and does not go away on it's own, your physician may just monitor your condition. You should be asking questions of your physician that ordered this test.
