Disney Representations-Gender?

How do you beleive that characters in 101 dalmatians are shown. I mean the men and the women do you think Disney is trying to be inanyway ist or trying to send out any other messages apart from animal cruelty. Do you think Disney is being very sterotypical of male and female characters in Hercules.
