Ryan Gosling. If his resume isn't yet as interesting and diverse as Depp's, it's only because he's younger. I can't think of another star Gosling's age who could have done "Lars and the Real Girl," "Half Nelson," and "The Believer," then balanced those out effortlessly with something as mainstream as "The Notebook."
