Girlfriend losing her Job because she won't sign Insurance papers?

My girlfriend works for a place that does in-home care for people with mental disabilities. She's been with same company for 2 years. She has her own Insurance issued by the State. Her employer is suspending Everybody indefinitely who will not sign up for the insurance through Blue Cross. This suspension is until the paper is signed. She doesn't want to sign it because what she has now is Free from the state based on her income. If she signs it, it will cost $200 per month and only covers reg Dr. Visits. No dental or vision. What do you think of this? she recorded her boss suspending her and he also states in the recording that he absolutely will Not give her anything in writing of why she is being suspended. He's refusing to give her or any of her co-workers anything in writing. When she called Blue cross herself, they told her that it was her employer making the fuss about the insurance and not them. Her boss is claiming blue cross will not accept her insurance as a recognizable form of insurance.

Car seat question Aus -Uk USA?

I have just been given a copy of the new car seat laws from my maternal and child health nurse which became effective in nov 09. I have seen heaps of questions on here about leaving their child rear facing and it being the law in Uk and USA sometimes up to 2 yrs old. I am in Australia and in this book it states that Babies from birth- 6 months must be in a rearward facing carseat. From 6 months until four yrs they Either be in a rearward facing OR forward facing seat depending on weight.My rearward facing seat is only till 9 kg 4-7 years must be in a booster with a lap sash seatbelt or harness. It also says that if the child reaches the weight limit for rearward facing seats it must be turned around. My question is Why such a big difference in laws here to wherever you are?? I have answered questions before about this and have been given heaps of thumbs down even though this is our law here!

Who cares? Most folks ignore the "look at what your god did" claims, anyway. The real problem is whether or not the record is accurate and no one has the ability to determine if those events are accurately portrayed or are nothing more than scary tales to keep the followers in line. Regardless, we tend to make judgments based upon our view of things in today's world and really don't have a clue when it comes to judging events that happened thousands of years ago.

Is it only diabetics that can get hypoglycemia when hungry?

Im not diabetic but when I am hungry I get shakey, anxious and hot flashes. I think this is low blood sugar, but does it necessarily mean I may be diabetic?
